PREAMBLE Pravara Rural Engineering College Loni, started on 21“August 1983, is the premier of all the institutions under the technical education complex developed by the Pravara Rural Education Society. The Society was established in 1964 by Late Padmashri Dr.Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, who was also founder of the Pravara Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd, Pravaranagar. The Society has been registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960 and the Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950. The various supportive measures are being taken to improve the academic performance of the students. Some of the measures include special lectures from outside experts, supplementary evening lectures for slow learners, use of audio visual aids in the classrooms and laboratories. Conducting monthly tests and informing attendance and progress of the students to their parents every month. Teaching beyond syllabi College undertakes value addition courses in all departments. College undertakes various mini projects. College has national service scheme unit of 150 students sanctioned by Pune University for girls and boys. College undertakes consultancy services for the service of society, like material testing, structural design, water analysis process simulation tribology etc. Library is the nerve centre of college to cater the needs of students and for research work. Over 35000 books and DELNET FACILITY are in Library along with e-journals and tie-ups   with IIT Bombay, National Chemical Lab, Pune etc. ALUMNI: Alumni are our source of strength.  Huge number of students passed out from our college, have good attachment, for the development of college and guidance to students, expert lectures.  Two International and 06 chapters of ALUMNI are working for college in India. It is directly approachable from Mumbai via Nasik & Sangamner or via Shirdi & Babhaleshwar and from Pune via Sangamner or Ahmednagar. Maharashtra State Transport runs frequent bus services.  Belapur (Shrirampur) is the nearest railway station (22 km) on Central Railway line from where direct train services are available to Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Nagpur, Bengalore, Jammu, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Madras, Trivendrum etc. The nearest airports are Pune & Aurangabad from where daily flights are available to Mumbai & Delhi.
